1 level teaspoon salt
2/3 cup warm water
3/4 cup matzo meal
1 level tablespoon sugar
- Beat the eggs and add the salt and 2 tablespoons of the water and mix till it’s thick.
- Gradually add the meal, the sugar and enough additional water to make a thick batter that just drops from the spoon.
- Fry in oil until golden and puffy on both sides.
